Collection "schoolzies" Piece 1 Inspire by Johnny Cade from The Outsiders, S.E. Hinton

Rattling windows, screams of hatred flooding the air

Late night trips ‘round town with the moon as my guide

Six-inch blade: my comfort

Broken yet unbreakable: my being

Six people: my one safe home

Six people show me what life is,

To not waste it,

To know what love is,

To know what family is,

To know what it feels like to matter

Darkness tries to swallow me;

I want it to succeed at times, I give it control.

But those six people push me in the best way,

To stay gold, especially when I’ve lost all hope.
