Gleaming in the sunlight are pearly whites
Skin radiating the light of joy
A perfect summer's day embodies the light of a child
Memories that shine of laughter
Waltzing with elegance and grace through life
Enjoyment right around every corner
Beautiful greetings to fellow pedestrians on the street
A look of love from every person met
Until...
The door shuts.
Thunder and lighting flood through the mind.
Every door is slammed.
A stone-cold expression is frozen in place.
Tears of pain stream down the face.
Denial, agony, suffering, and immense sadness are so utterly suffocating.
Will anyone ever notice that this happiness is fake?
It was all just an illusion.
